Health Education Program for Teen Boys Being Tested in Malaysia

A module on reproductive health education and the sexuality of teenage boys will be introduced next month in Malaysia, in schools in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Sabah. This module was developed by the National Population and Family Development Board, and is intended to address “the issue of sexual misconduct among teenagers.” It will be implemented for a month-long probationary period.

Moffat County has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the state of Colorado. As a reaction to these dispiriting statistics, a new series of classes called “Building a Healthy You” has been designed  in order to teach both parents and teens about reproductive health.
