Sex Ed Updates Come to Mount Pleasant School District

For the first time since 2011, the Mt. Pleasant, Michigan sex education advisory board will be making changes to the district’s sex education curriculum. Most notably, sex education will now be offered as early as fourth grade.

Kenyans Look for Ways to Bring Sex Ed to More People

As sex ed curricula in Kenya remain stagnant, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Nailab, a Kenyan firm that supports technology startups, have launched an initiative in which they’ve asked for entrepreneurs to submit ideas on providing sex education through technology and social media. Four winners will be chosen next month to receive training, mentorship, and the necessary funding to develop their ideas further.
